Infrastructure Architect Infrastructure Architect - Contract - Cambridgeshire Working within a newly formed Enterprise Architecture team the Infrastructure Architect will perform a leadership role defining the architecture for the company's complete platform stack. Working closely with other EA team members as well as data centre administration , support and management staff the role will drive the company's infrastructure standards towards a shared services, virtualised strategy.Initially, responsible for analysing and modelling current infrastructure architecture across multiple complex business streams the remit will be to develop a coherent, scalable and agile infrastructure against a common shared services strategy. The role will help drive the agenda for convergence and synergy across multiple business units in order to provide an infrastructure scalable and agile enough to deliver aggressive business growth in an uncompromising environment.You will develop a deep understanding of the business operational goals and needs, identifying synergies, architecture options and developing patterns and blueprints to support the delivery of the future enterprise architecture.Integrating within a larger Enterprise Architecture team consisting of various subject matter experts you will require a consultative approach to problem solving, relationship building and architecture development. Working as a trusted adviser within the business you will be expected to be able to work autonomously to develop and deliver against multiple objectives.It is expected the successful candidate will have previous experience developing end to end infrastructure architectures in complex organisations within a lead architecture role.
