Roc Search is currently recruiting for a Service engineer to work for a reputable client of mine based in Prague.
This is a chance to work for a 6.5 billion dollar enterprise, a diverse business with huge investment in their staff.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper functionality of G, I, W and H drives (DFS namespaces, DFS Servers, File Servers (Windows, NetApp), Share & NTFS security settings, access provisioning etc.)
- Being point of contact for Data Management or DFS activities
- Being point of contact for Litigation hold execution activities
- Support standardized setup and documentation in traditional File Server Technologies and MS Cloud Base Collaboration Technologies (SharePoint, OneDrive for Business) using best industry practices
- Support/provide/coordinate and execute migrations of file Servers, to GDC/RDC NAS devices and later to ODB.
- Design/innovate and support solutions and optimizations
- Provide 3rd level support for the File Services and ODB implementations
- Provide on boarding, trainings and support for 2nd level support
- Monitor, reviews and reports performance against SLA and OLA
- Prepare and present technical product information to user community
- Support documentation of setting and process descriptions of existing and new solutions, processes to be implemented
- Design and document the configuration and administration of on-going projects and activities
- Execute change management activities
- Support data migrations in scope of other teams
