My client is looking for a specialist on satellite communications.
Activities:
Providing SP leadership in the identification of space, ground station and user terminal design options, issues and risks
Development of alternative space, ground station and user terminal strategies
Development of space, ground station and user terminal assessment criteria
Thorough understanding of user and system requirements and their translation into system solutions
Setting, planning and maintaining appropriate technical objectives and milestones
Key skills:
Knowledge and understanding of SATCOM technical space, ground station and user terminal segments
Good organisational skills and able to provide project direction
Good project planning and management skills; attention to detail
Ability to work well with others, as well as independently
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ideally, prior experience of complex, multi-billion pound IT solutions, in the satellite communications industry
Ideally, current knowledge and connections with the satellite communications supply chain
Ideally, major satellite communications project implementation experience in a technical leadership role
