Description
We are seeking entry level software/application support programmers to join a Production Support team for an enterprise integrated software application with 23 integration points within a very large house hold name organization.
This is a five year plus contract term. You will join a team in the support of an enterprise system implementation and customization for a commercial off the shelf product to integrate many applications.
Primary responsibilities are production support which includes maintenance and bug fixes (no new development). Primary tool used will be SQL. Strong verbal communication skills are required to talk to the end users.
You must have taken courses in .NET and SQL and have a 4 year degree in either, Computer Science OR Computer/Management Information Systems, or Mathematics. No professional experience is necessary but will be a plus; academic experience is required.
Candidates must possess a degree in either of the following:
- Computer Science
- Computer/Management Information Systems, or Mathematics
- Academic projects in either .NET or Java and SQL
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills
- Working knowledge of SQL Server or Oracle databases
