Project Engineer - Warwickshire - c. £32ph - £35ph
A leading automotive manufacturer are seeking an experienced Project Engineer for a 6-month contract to work on a prestigious vehicle programme.
Role:
Project Engineer Electrical
As Project Engineer you will be responsible for:
+ Providing status reports on the progress of individual Engineering activities to management
+ Preparation of harness drawings and circuit schematics
+ Analysis of Electrical and Electronic architecture requirements
+ Produce system and component level requirement specification documents
+ Engage in system specific design reviews, problem resolution and root cause analysis
+ Carry out viability assessments of competing technologies and systems
+ produce accurate, high quality engineering reports
+ Provide support to production manufacturing activities
+ Support Vehicle trials and exhibitions as and when required
Experience:
As Project Engineer you will have experience of:
+ Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline
+ Previous land vehicle experience
+ Broad based knowledge of low voltage DC electrical systems and CANbus
+ Have a proven track record of technical project delivery
+ Effectively communicate information to multi-disciplined engineering team members
+ Have the ability to interpret vehicle system requirements and propose appropriate design solutions
+ Willing to travel within the UK and overseas
+ Hold or capable of holding security clearance up to level of SECRET
+ Knowledge of VeSys, CREO or other ECAD system would be beneficial
