What is Bisnow Media?Over the course of the last decade, Bisnow has built itself into the largest media and events platform in the United State's trillion dollar commercial real estate industry. Bisnow hosts almost 300 events a year that are attended by over 70,000 people, 2,000 sponsors and hundreds of speakers. We also publish tens of newsletters that reach almost three quarters of a million executives.
How do we make money?
Bisnow has three primary forms of cash flow: Tickets to our events, event sponsorship opportunities and advertising in both our newsletters and on our website.
What The Role Entails
- Generate four 150 to 200 word stories daily that will run on Bisnow's homepage and newsletters. For the most part, these stories are quick hit summations of aggregated news from other outlets, and will not require original reporting/interviews
- Write between six to eight original stories a month; most of these pieces will include original reporting/interviews, though some will be solely research-based
- Cultivate sources for original stories and stay up-to-date on what is going on in the commercial real estate industry nationally
- Work in a timely and professional manner to meet deadlines and turn in top-quality work
- Learn how to use the Bisnow CMS to input stories and build newsletters
