Flint is a leader in the wireless industry and is seeking a Wi-Fi Architectural Design Engineer to join the design team to institute a full design & implementation plan for new works.
Role Description
- Tenaciously manage the design of wireless and Proxy environments to ensure they will operate at peak performance levels through proactive monitoring/tuning
- Consult with other technology support groups as part of problem resolution efforts
- Ensure compliance with departmental and enterprise security configuration standards (includes security vulnerability assessment, mitigation planning and implementation)
- Create and/or maintain standard documentation, diagrams and workflow documents
- Complete understanding of Wi-Fi network components & wireless network architectural configurations
Essential
CWDP or equivalent or demonstrable experience
Experience of designing, implementing and troubleshooting complex Wi-Fi networks in challenging environments
Experience of working with Tier 1 Wi-Fi platforms: eg Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, etc.
Desirable
CCNA/P
Experience of virtualised environments: eg Hypervisor
Experience of Access gateways, IPSec, GRE, L2TPv3, etc;
and implementation roadmap.
