Datastax Cassandra Consultant
My client is a leading Financial Institution and they are looking for a Datastax Cassandra Consultant on a 6-12 month contract. The client has offices in Dublin and London so travel to both locations is required so we require a valid EU Passport for this role.

Job description:

Experience of having supported an in production Cassandra deployment( BFSI exposure a positive)
- Installations and Configurations of DSE Cassandra/Datastax Agent/Datastax.
- Monitored Cassandra cluster health using GUI Monitoring tool Opscenter and creation of multiple data-centers as per client requirement.
- Addition and decommission of Cassandra nodes. Up-gradation in a round robin manner without any single instance down.
- Live streamed the production cluster data to pre prod cluster using SSTABLELOADER. Cassandra DB backup and restoring the backup as needed using opscenter and node tool utility.
- Implemented Cassandra cluster manager(CCM) initiate and exit DSE Cassandra instance, agent-instance and opscenter-instance
