Infrastructure Project Manager Lead Central London based client requires a very technical and hands on Infrastructure Project Manager to lead an Infrastructure team through a busy period of change and transition to an outsource provider.You will need to manage the infrastructure team through the ICT infrastructure transition ensuring the continued delivery of day to day service and the completion of the agreed tasks and projects. The role will be as team leader.The expected outcome is that a high quality day to day service is maintained and all elements of the various projects have been planned and agreed so that they are completed in the specified timescale. The scope therefore includes:· working very closely with the ICT services manager· working very closely with the preferred supplier· project manage the transition phase of the project and other work towards the transformation· team lead the infrastructure team Objectives· to take control of the day to day service delivery and to manage an effective infrastructure operation· to quickly understand the existing plans, progress, resources and requirements· to produce a plan to complete the projects· to ensure compliance with agreed project management disciplines, project quality criteria and agreed processes· to deliver the transition project and supporting work within agreed parameters.Skills and experience· Demonstrable experience of Microsoft Operating System infrastructure (Windows Server 2003 and 2008) and in particular security in an AD based environment· Essential server skills - Windows 2000-8 or equivalent installed technology· Essential messaging skills MS Exchange or equivalent installed· Essential network skills - TCP/IP, Cisco routers and switches, Cisco PIX firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, ISDN, structured cabling, general comms experience.· Essential telephony skills: IP Telephony such as Cisco Call Manager v4 and above. Voice Mail systems such as Cisco Unity or Exchange 2007.· Essential security skills - understanding of matters pertaining to security and threat in an ICT context. Application of this in working practices. PCI compliance.· Netapp storage and VMware VI3/vSphere· IIS, SQL, SCOM, ISA, Insight Manager· Scripted server builds, SCCM · Network-based Backup & Recovery system such as SCDPM , BackupExec 11d or later· Network, server and PC Anti-Virus systems· Screening and Filtering systems such as Websense· Firewalls such as Nokia Checkpoint, MS ISA or equivalents · Switches such as Cisco 6513, 3750· Routers such as Cisco· Experienced project manager with a demonstrable experience. Experience of third party delivered solutions and their transition into a live service essential.Gehalt: £400 - £450 per annum
