Proteus Europe is searching for a Business Analyst for one of our clients based in London.Our Client :-
Our client is a decentralised agency of the European Union (EU) responsible for the scientific evaluation, supervision and safety monitoring of medicines developed by pharmaceutical companies for use in the EU.
Your New role :-
- Project deliverables:
- Experience in producing Business case, Business vision, gathering requirements, detailing use cases and mock-ups;
- Ability to review project deliverables for completeness and quality and following a formal methodology (e.g. RUP).
- Requirements gathering:
- Ability to gather requirements and develop these based on input from a variety of sources including Proof of Concept, the business and analysis results;
- Ability to analyse and manage the collected requirements including defining prioritisation, scope boundaries, classification and traceability;
- Ability to translate the requirements into detailed analysis and design specifications in the appropriate level of quality expected by IT;
- Work in close collaboration with the Data Architect.
- Business architecture:
- Contributes to all level of governance from program level to project level and be accountable to the various boards;
- Ability to represent the organisation in a structured manner from motivations, business processes, organisational, capability, and information flow perspectives;
- Ability to model the organisation in terms of As-Is and To-Be states;
- Ability to identify issues, redundancies and silos in business capabilities;
- Extensive experience in BPMN, UML, ER Model, EPC Model;
- Extensive experience with modelling software: Enterprise Architect, ARIS, Casewise, MEGA;- Act as the bridge between the business and IT to align expectations of business/IT strategies, initiatives, level of services, project and programme outcomes.
- Business process modelling:
- Ability to analyse and design business processes (BPMN);
- Experience with analysis and modelling techniques including use cases, activity diagram, sequence diagram, class diagrams to produce functional specifications. (UML analysis - use cases, activity, sequence, class diagrams as appropriate);
- Experience in BPMN, UML, ER Model, EPC Model;
- Experience with modelling software: Enterprise Architect, Rational Rose, ARIS, Visio;
- Experience with wireframing tools.
- Business problem and options analysis:
- Experience with business problem analysis, identification of options;
cost/benefit of alternatives, etc.;
- Experience with performing feasibility studies, benefits modelling, and business case development;
- Identification of Business processes and system changes and identification of options to support the implementation of those changes.
- Communication abilities:
- Ability to host and communicate requirements to the internal/external team for the design and implementation of new solution from a functional perspective;
- Ability to perform status updates as well as meeting engagement and ownership;
- Ability to plan, estimate, perform risk assessment and quality assurance with programme and project management.
o Knowledge and understanding of general trends in the domain of expertise is mandatory;
- Demonstrable leadership capabilities.
Your Skills and experience :-
Essential Skills :-
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. Membership of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, Union Nationale des Pharmaciens Luxembourgeois or equivalent) are desirable;
- Relevant qualifications in the area of business analysis and/or business process analysis and modelling (e.g. Object Management Group (OMG) Certified Expert in BPM, Six Sigma Black Belt or higher, BABoK) are desirable - unless specified as mandatory in the request for service
