Product Designer Required - Smart Electronic Devices

Position Summary

We are looking for passionate, and accomplished creative Product Designer with world class design sensibility for designing a Vehicular GPS Tracking Device. The feature and constaints are as follows:

Product Specifications

The vehicular GPS Tracker design should have below listed features

• Body Material: Plastics
  
  
  
  • Device to be made in PC-V0
    
  • There be additional Mounting unit which may be screwed into the vehicle. Suggestions are welcome for fitting the unit in vehicle.
    
  
  
• The device shall have provision for nano-sim
  
  
  
  • SIM replacement must be idiot-proof and externally done (without opening the device, alike Apple iPhone)
    
  
  
• The electronic curcuit will be designed after the rpoduct design.
  
• The device shall be :
  
  
  
  • Fireproof
    
  • Waterproof
    
  • Unbreakable
    
    
    
    • Weight tolerance of 500 Kg
      
    • Resilient to free fall of 60 meters.
      
    
    
  
  
• Device must have a diagnostic port
  
• Device must have a reset button
  
• Device should have 2 small - LED
  
• Customer shall be able to change device battery as the need be
  
• Operating Environment: Temp: -40C to 80 C & Humidity: 5- 95%
  
• Device itself would be with minimum screw, however there shall be separate mount to hold the device.
  

Eligibility Requirements

• Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign) Microsoft Office
  
• Bachelor's or associate degree in graphic design, communication arts, or industrial design is preferred
  
• 2-6 years experience in a designer role for an agency or in-house creative environment is required
