Description
Please read carefully, if you don’t follow what this posting is asking for, I will ignore your email.We are looking for a WordPress web contractor. This position will have plenty of work for the next few years. This is a fast paced company with many landing pages and general web updates going on weekly. We don’t have time to open projects up for every little update/change we need on our web sites, so we are looking for a hourly contractor to handle overflow work as it comes in. This is a unique opportunity because we are willing to put you on a $1000 retainer per month regardless of work hours.
You:
- WordPress guru, must know WordPress backend, hooks, custom plugins, etc.
- Must be a good designer, and show examples of past work. This job, at times, will provide very little guidance on design, so you must have some good design chops.
- Familiar with making WordPress pages mobile/responsive.
- Willing to work 10-25 hours per week, sometimes more, sometimes less depending on workload.
- Must work and be available to speak/email during US times.
- Must have fast turn-around times. We are reasonable, and expect you will work how and when you see fit, but also know we have high expectations for quality and deliverable times.
- Must be willing to redesign 1 of our pages as an example of your design skills. This can be a simple PDF mockup that you submit. Doesn’t have to be working website. This is UNPAID. You can spend as much or as little time as you want on this.
- Must be willing to sign a general Statement of Work and independent contractor agreement.
- Must be willing to submit invoice and be paid once per month.
Us:
- Willing to put you on retainer per month so you get paid regardless of work or not.
- Pay you $25 per hour, with PLENTY of work in the future. If you are awesome at what you do, get in the door and prove yourself and we can talk about pay increases and eventually full time employment if that interests you.
