Operations (Lead/Head) Data Services - Central London
This position is working for a global Management Consulting firm, working for their client, one of the big global financial institutions.
This is an urgent requirement, so anticipated start is ASAP.
Data Services is a new team within Ops/IT so not yet an established remit. In fact one of the deliverables is to define the role of the Data Services lead within Ops/IT.
- Ops MI Project
- Stand up team for construction phase of projects
- Overall stakeholder engagement and ensuring alignment on solution and deliverables
- Clarification on solution thinking - what and when - what is the migration path from current -> big data -> google
- Begin automation of KPIs (UK data ingest, transformation and propagation, reporting) for first slice' of data
- 2020 Planning
- Establish interlock with transformation programmes/business
- Establish interlock with Data Services and understand state of play of offerings
- Understand the scope and plan for the core data services initiatives which she/he will own: Establish a Data Management Function in Operations; Determine Critical Data and Assess Data Quality for Ops; Universal Data Platform for Operations; Develop capability to measure business service performance in Real Time
- Understand additional scope of demand for data services across TPs, ie other non-core' 2020 initiatives
