Senior Content Designer
Our client a large public sector organisation require a Senior Content Designer to co-lead a team of content experts to manage content projects and create high quality written material for a variety of audiences and channels. This is a new position central to the delivery of the new stategies and provides the opportunity to lead core components of the work. Based within the new communications engagement function which implements the government communication modern operating model.
Reporting to the Head of Content and Channels the designer will co-lead a team of highly skilled content designers to produce audience-focused written content for a variety of channels including print, web, mobile and social media. Leading projects and providing advice to staff at all levels to improve the quality of the clients content.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage in house content team, scope, write edit, proof, clear and publish through content management systems, Lead Projects, Provide content design consultancy
Skills Required: Extensive copywriting and Editorial experience, including developing editorial briefs, working to a house style, copywriting and editing and proof reading, Experience across multiple media including print and web content, Experience of researching and identifying user needs and testing content, Experience of Project management skills, Experience of working with content management systems and print production processes. Strong customer/client presentation, negotiation and management skills in developing and agreeing briefs, production schedules and pitching content solutions. Relevant Qualifications.
