Senior Infrastructure Analyst A senior Infrastructure Analyst is required for 12 month contract for my client, an educational institution for the public. Working within one of the most advanced and diverse technical environments the role requires a candidate to work with the infrastructure team on the development and maintenance of the ICT network and server infrastructure and services. Working to support the infrastructure used by 1200, a successful candidate with require experience installing and configuring network equipment & network services (Cisco switches, patching etc), experience of management of a mixed VMWARE/Windows/Unix server environment, experience installing and configuring MS Windows and Linux/Unix physical and virtual servers. Further managing data storage including backup and SAN connection , understanding of logical IP networking and routing protocols, support of Misoft active directory and Exchange 2003 and finally troubleshooting of HTTP, SMTP, FTP & SMB related issues and services.
