An exciting opportunity has arisen within a Central Finance within a banking client of Empirics ditting within the Finance Business Partner team to partner key Divisional, Business Unit and CMU relationships to deliver Group Sourcing's Simplification II Third Party cost savings targets and to support the identification and delivery of further Third Party spend initiatives.

Key accountabilities:
The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective working and influencing relationships with key stakeholders within Group Sourcing, across Divisions and Business unit business and finance teams including:
- Developing a deep understanding of the Simplification II principles.
- Supporting the planning, forecasting and delivery of savings.
- Supporting interlock, delivery and reporting of agreed savings
- Proactively identifying risks and improvement opportunities to current processes and making appropriate recommendations to increase operational efficiency.
- Commercial and process support for a series of Business Cases including material strategic initiatives and ad hoc projects.
- Provide training and guidance to Sourcing and Suppliers Managers to carry out financial analysis and due diligence on existing and potential new suppliers to the group.
- Communicate and maintain engagement of the approach to the Sourcing, Risk, Finance & Supplier Management communities.
