Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Accountant to join a newly formed Centre of Excellence within a leading UK bank. The role requires a qualified accountant, with Treasury product knowledge and hedging experience. The ideal candidate will be lean six sigma certified, with a minimum of green belt.
This team is responsible for delivering the financial reporting aspects and partnering to treasury desks for 'one off complex transactions as well as ensuring the appropriate governance and sign off is completed by various stakeholders around the Group. They also use the Lean framework to facilitate and support teams in completing business process reviews, to ensure processes are effective and efficient at meeting customer's needs
This is a contract position, based in London City and with a daily rate £400-£450.
Key Accountabilities
- Establish and build relationships with stakeholders to support deliverables
- Responsible for feeding into delivery of revised end to end cash management process and framework
- Help to minimise operational risks as part of revised end to end process
- Effectively work within and maintain internal networks for the purpose of optimising business results
Requirements
- Minimum green belt qualified
- Treasury product knowledge
- Financial services experience, preferably in Finance or Treasury
- Able to develop project plans
- Training staff on the lean framework
