Technical Author - Contract
Our award-winning and highly successful global technology client is looking for a technical author to join their technical publications team. You'll have a proactive approach and a real appetite and enthusiasm for learning cutting edge technology and developing new skills. This contract is to start ASAP and runs until March 2018.
As the successful candidate you will have:
- Solid experience as a technical author in a technology or engineering environment.
- An interest in, and the ability to learn, technically complex hardware.
- A demonstrable interest in maintaining rigour and precision while producing and editing highly-specialised technical reference material.
- Knowledge/experience in one of the following would be a bonus: Structured FrameMaker; hardware (microprocessors, electronics engineering, System-on-Chip); software (developer level documentation, programming/Scripting languages such as C, C++, Python).
