Unix Systems Administrator - Banking Unix System Administrator - AIX / Solaris / Linux - Scripting - bash, ksh, perl. Storage. Cluster Server, distributed platform Technologies.My client a leading Investment Bank based in Canary Wharf is looking for a UNIX Systems Administrator to work within the UNIX Solutions Services team supporting transition initiatives and a Data Centre Exit Project. Essential Skills:Excellent knowledge of at least two of the major UNIX platforms (IBM AIX, Sun Microsystems Solaris, RedHat Enterprise Linux). Excellent experience of working on UNIX platforms within a financial services organisation. Good scripting skills e.g. bash, ksh, Perl. Experience of UNIX storage and clustering software e.g Aix LVM, Linux LVM, Veritas Storage Foundation, Sun Volume Manager, Veritas Cluster Server, Sun Cluster, IBM HA-GEO.
