Description

Security Architect required for leading Global Technology Company working in a Finical Services environment based in Dublin South. You will be working alongside the existing Architect(s) to provide a focal point for Security Design & Architecture related activities interfacing with the client. You will help design leadership and direction - Advice, Guidance and Definition of appropriate Security solutions for the businesses account which are aligned to the clients Security Requirements & Principles.

You will have experience in

  • An understanding of the fundamentals of IT networking technologies, the basic building blocks used and how they support a secure architecture
  • IT Systems - A fundamental understanding of IT Systems and Services covering Virtualisation, Mainframes, Cloud Services, Hosting Services, Desktop, etc.
  • A fundamental understanding of ISM Principles is expected covering an understanding of Physical Security, Disaster Recovery, Access Controls, Authentication, Audit, Governance, Risk Management, Security Architecture, Cryptography, Systems Development and Business Continuity.
  • A strong working knowledge and ability to design security solutions covering deployment of critical security controls, such as Device/Software Inventory Systems, Secure Configuration Management, Continuous Vulnerability Assessment and Remediation systems, Malware Defences, Security Incident Event Management, Intrusion Prevention and Boundary Defence systems.
  • Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) - The ability to create high quality documentation such as Presentations, Risk Assessments, Reports and completing metrics and spreadsheets.
