My client are the equities and trading arm of a large financial institution.
This position forms part of the Electronic Connectivity Group based in London. This is a busy team and key to the on-boarding of new business, and as such you must be able to translate business requirements into a technical build.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Thorough analysis of requirements to produce high quality robust connectivity solutions,
- Client connectivity FIX certification/technical account management to ensure that clients effectively connect for trading Equities and Futures Cash/Programs/Algos,
- The creation, maintenance and control of web based support information to ensure that procedures, information, and records are up to date and accurate,
- Interpret 3rd Party Brokers Algo ticket specifications, to produce the Algo tickets within our EMS product,
- Manage pre-defined communication channels with internal and external business and technical groups,
- Build excellent working relationships with internal and external clients and vendors,
- Create FIX specific documentation for new trading products and solutions.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience of working in a client on-boarding team,
- Prior experience within a 1st/2nd level FIX support environment
- Understanding of the FIX protocol,
- Working knowledge of UNIX & XML
- Strong communicator (written and verbal),
- Solid analytical skills,
- Creative approach to problem solving,
- Must be an excellent team player,
