Senior Analyst (Financial Controls) - Banking - Edinburgh
I am working with an exciting new client to the UK banking market who are in the middle of some significant divestment activity. They have an opening for highly experienced finance professionals to join a fast moving BAU function to ensure all budget and finance is being monitored, tracked and allocated accordingly across the function to ensure successful delivery of projects/programmes.
In order to be considered for this role applicants must have the following skills/experience:
* Professional Accounting Qualification with at least 3 years post qualifying experience in a Finance environment.
* Team player working within a finance team including preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting delivering accurate and timely FI and experience of the process of "review and challenge".
* Ability to meet tight deadlines with a high quality output.
* Experience of working and building strong business relationships in a changing and fast moving environment.
* Experience of influencing at managerial level and maintaining ongoing relationships with key clients.
* Experience of working autonomously to prioritise own and teams workload
* Good working knowledge of key systems relevant to supporting the financial statement reporting including some of the following Walker, HFM, GFDW, UKBMIS, SGL, MS Office etc.
