Corporate Affairs Manager to be based in London on an initial 6 Month contract. Experienced managing Corporate Affairs for large companies and senior stakeholder management.

The contract role is responsible for, and will be accountable for, tasks as specified by the SVP of Corporate Affairs, largely the delivery of projects at the overlap of the business units and Corporate Affairs.
As part of this the role will be involved in project management, agency steerage, and direct tactical work across the globe, largely managing the reputation of key products that could influence the overall reputation of the business.
Hence the position plays a significant role in the handling and protection the businesses' reputation, and often deals with commercially sensitive information. The successful candidate must have the experience, gravitas and natural flair for communications to recognize the potential impact of their job function; alongside an understanding of the responsibilities of managing internal and external facing communications with regard to their impact on a quarterly-reporting, quoted, company.
The position has a large number of internal stakeholders, sitting across the region and internationally, and the individual will need to demonstrate the ability to build relationships in a complex, matrixed, business.
The position will offer access and exposure to many different departments across the company, and the successful candidate can expect to have regular dealings with the Company's executive committee (Excom) and should demonstrate appropriate skills with these groups.
Fundamentally this is a hand-on role, with the strong requirement to make progress, and complete projects across a wide variety of stake holders.

- Building integrated 'thought leadership communications plans'
- Coordination and alignment of corporate message across the London verticals

Experience Required
- Bachelors Degree required, Masters or Professional qualification preferred
- Extensive corporate media experience
- Public company experience and familiarity in dealing with confidential/price-sensitive information
- Proven experience as a corporate spokesperson
- Excellent communication skills, additional languages advantageous
