Middleware Specialist Cheshire based blue chip organisation requires a Middleware Infrastructure Specialist to join them on a 6 month contract.Role The implementation of project-driven change of Middleware components to agreed timescales, budget and quality.To take responsibility for completing design, build and change tasks to the highest levels of quality adhering at all time to the organisations standards, policies and procedures.Advise and recommend technical solutions based on experience and industry knowledge.Review, QA and influence of e2e designs, component designs, technical implementation plans and component-level build guides with the design and development and project community.Ongoing review, QA and influence of internal processes, technical implementation approaches and component-level build processes.Provide handover of project deliverables ensuring Global Middleware are operationally equipped to provide effective service/component monitoring, Live support and incident recovery.. Key Skills· Systems administration skills across multiple infrastructure platforms· Connect Direct installation and configuration· Design, build, test and implementation of Middleware Connect Direct deliverables for major projects Essential· Experience of working in major IT Change/Project delivery team· Unix systems administration v 5.1-v5.3· Connect Direct installation and configuration· SSL Encryption / Secure+· Fileagent Preferred · Mainframe administration skills.
