Proteus Europe is searching for a SoC Security Expert for one of our clients based in Belgium.Our Client :-
Our client is a decentralised agency of the European Union (EU) responsible for the scientific evaluation, supervision and safety monitoring of medicines developed by pharmaceutical companies for use in the EU.
Your New role :-
- Lead and support the successful deployment of our security services for our client, in an industrialised approach, at technical and procedure level;
- Lead design and implementation of security changes and projects, align the technical design to the Clients requirements according to best practices and industry standards
- Implement security rules, standards and guidelines;
- Define and fine-tune the alerting of security incidents, provide 2nd level assistance to Level 1 Security Engineers
- Define remediation plans and implement security mitigation actions in accordance with the Clients, provide reporting and traceable follow-up of these actions
- Conduct security tests, vulnerability scans, penetration testing and other security audits
- Implement and maintain our Security Information Event Management service
- Be our subject matter expert concerning new threats and trends, security standards and evolutions
Your Skills and experience :-
Essential Skills :-
- 5+ years Experienced Technical Security Professional, owning one or more security related certifications (ideally CISSP), e.g. in PCI-DSS or ISO
- Proficiently knowledgeable in technical security at network, systems and application levels
- Experienced with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, ethical hacking, troubleshooting and correlation analysis, deploying security remediation plans
- Able to testify of project experience in the implementation of security related solutions and technologies, enforcing security best practices and assessing security risks
Desirable Skills :-
- SIEM
- PCI-DSS
- ISO
- Speaking either French or Dutch.
