Informatica Developer - Java, C++, Oracle, XML - Croydon Informatica Developer - Java, C++, Oracle, XML - CroydonMy tier one investment bank requires an Informatica Developer to report to the Development Lead for one of the primary 3 year migration projects and will provide application design, analysis, development, and implementation and support services for the target systems implemented in EMEA.The primary duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows:* Drive out requirements and designs working with multiple partners (business and technical) * Interpretation of business requirements into design solutions. * Estimation for the design and development of the project lifecycle. * Coding, Unit Testing and Component Integration Testing.* Regular status reporting to Execution Lead, Technical Delivery Managers and wider Management groups. * Creation and maintenance of system, functional and reference documentation.* Provide support during testing phases as required.* Assist with release management activities all the way through production deployment.* Providing technical guidance to other team members. The experience and qualifications that are required to fulfil this role are as follows:* Development experience:* Informatica DT(CDE), DX and PowerCenter products (Essential)* Java and C, C++ (or C#) (Essential)* XML (Essential)* Relational Databases/Oracle (Essential)* SOA/IBM Process Server* MQ* UNIX* Established track record of technically leading the implementation of complex solutions on mission-critical systems with high degrees of accuracy.* Development of solutions using Agile / eXtreme Programming project methodologies.* Attention to detail and accuracy are essential. Must be pro-active, enthusiastic, flexible, and results driven.* Exhibit a strong sense of teamwork and inclusiveness.The chosen Candidate will have all of the following skills:* Must be able to work under pressure, handle multiple projects, use own initiative and motivation to meet deadlines and set priorities without close supervision.* Excellent spoken and written English complete with clear oral communication skills.
