Windows Engineer / Specialist Windows Engineer / SQL Engineer / DBA High profile client based in Central London requires a specialist contractor for a 3-6 month engagement to work on a business critical project.The Role/Responsibilities* A predominantly technical based 3rd line resource is required to ensure the smooth day to day running of key WINTEL environments, SQL environments.* Providing subject matter expert knowledge and experience while working with the current WINTEL team in on key priorities to execute tasks based on the IT strategy to keep the business in line with the overall end goal.Skills (required)* In depth experience of Windows technology as a generic product around Windows 2003, Windows 2008 and Clustering* In depth experience of Microsoft SQL Server as a generic product and key principles.* Good "real life" experience of the way these products interact with the supporting hardware and software, but also the applications and customers at the client end* Proven track record in a 3rd line supporting role* Excellent communicator and a real team player The person You will be someone who enjoys working across multiple technology but does have key focus towards WINTEL and SQL with a proven track record in this field. You will contribute to a support team environment and have the enthusiasm and professionalism to ensure the support offering is complimented by your skill set, especially during core business hour. This person will report into the team leader for the existing Windows and SQL technology space which is part of Infrastructure Services Team.For further information on this excellent opportunity please send in your CV straight away.
