Service Desk Analyst - Contract
A global financial services client, with significant operations in Dublin is seeking an experienced service desk analyst for a 6 month contract role based in the city center. Excellent opportunity to work within a growing team, in a multi-faceted role where you can learn a number of new skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as queue manager as necessary to ensure incoming tickets are effectively managed - Must be able to delegate work
- Troubleshooting and incident logging experience
- Act as escalation point with critical and high instance
- Use JIRA and ServiceNow to ensure all ticket details are correctly logged.
- Act as POC between business users and IT
- Use Tableau to provide KPI reports and develop new reports where required.
Skills Required:
- 1-3 years experience in a service desk or customer service role (IT environment)
- SQL competency
- Knowledge of software languages (.NET, JavaScript, Tableau)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work to tight dead lines
