Data Insights Analyst - Central London - £400 per day
Large E-commerce retailer based near to Euston station in central London require a Data Insights Analyst to work on contract basis for an initial 6 months followed by extensions.
The key skill for this assignment include.
Being able to extract large amounts of data from Google Analytics (GA) for example user level data
- This means as least one of:
- BigQuery,
- API with a Scripting language,
- API with Google docs,
- GA plugins
- a very good knowledge how to achieve the same using a csv export
- Being able to combine data from multiple sources and process them in a reasonable time
- Could be very good excel skills with some knowledge of macros or a Scripting language (R, Python )
- Being able to suggest an approach how to extract data from GA, even if it's complex and will require combining more than one export
- We don't expect the knowledge of each GA functionality, but an ability to find (possibly imperfect) a solution
- Understanding how data is collected and how to check what tags are firing on page loads and interactions
- We don't need someone doing tagging, but some level of understanding would be necessary to assure the candidate can handle data correctly.
This position offers a daily rate up to £400 per day for an initial 6 months (at least 18 month wok). The location is central London near to Euston.
