*Interim Senior Buyer/Procurement Specialist -12 months - Telecommunications/Technology Organisation - competitive day rate Euros (Ltd) - Dublin*
Our client is a leading and reputable Telecommunication/Technology Organisation based in Dublin who are looking for an Interim Senior Buyer/Procurement Specialist (IT) to join their team on a 12 months contract. Travel to various customers' sites will be required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
Led in supporting the businesses cost savings and revenue generation business goals through souring process for large spend technology category spends. Accountable for contract negotiations - manage quotations, developing statement of work and bid sheets for quotation process specifications, RFPS, cost modelling, pricing terms and conditions, conducting research and providing benchmarking data on pricing and/or other key terms. Supplier relationship management, risk management and supply base performance management.
Experience required for this role:
Ideally have CIPS/MCIPS credentials or qualified by experience
Degree educated in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Construction/Engineering or similar
Previous Senior Buyer, Procurement and Category management or similar experience
Experience in strategic sourcing, ideally in the technology areas - such as Network equipment, Infrastructure, Software licensing, Call Centre Services, Cloud etc...
Must have strong sourcing/procurement experience
Experience working within a large, multinational corporation, preferably in the telecommunications/IT, Construction, Electronics, Engineering industry
Knowledge of Fixed Line Telecommunications Engineering and Design is advantageous
Ability to solve complex problems to ensure business and financial issues result in good decisions
Ideally have familiarity with installation procedures, practice and standards.
Project management expertise - Prince 2, PMP or Lean Six Sigma is desirable
Strong negotiation skills and cost management practices
Excellent analytical skills is desirable
Exceptional Stakeholders management experience
Ability to work in a fast paced matrixed global environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite applications (including PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Word)
