A leading Financial Services organisation is seeking a Senior Wintel Engineer with strong knowledge and experience using SCCM/SCOM for a long-term engagement.
Joining a growing team of Wintel Engineers supporting a large, enterprise level environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for using their strong knowledge of SCCM and SCOM to assist in both project and BAU tasks. The team currently supports multiple SCCM areas, and will look to simplify and consolidate these in the short to medium term.
You will need to be a strong team player, happy to do whatever tasks is required, with no task too big or small. You will also be proactive and be happy to use your initiative to troubleshoot and resolve issues as and when you identify them.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry certifications
- Demonstrated Wintel Engineering experience gained within large, complex IT environments
- Expert SCCM/SCOM knowledge and experience
- Strong experience supporting VMWare and Active Directory
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Team player with a can-do attitude and ability to deliver to tight deadlines
- Comfortable operating in a project and BAU environment
