Description
Our client is seeking a Technical Project manager to delivery a number of innovative initiatives. The role will involve working with a number of new and exciting technologies such as Azure, Data Lakes, Apache Ranger, Power BI, Hadoop, and many more. This role would suit someone with a data analytics background as well as project management skills.
The role:
Work closely with SMEs and deliver a project to expand the breadth of data in the current data lake, as well as improving the accessibility to this data.
Manage the relationship with 3rd party vendors to ensure the online platform is built within the alloted time frames.
Contribute to the development of planning, budgets, and IT governance and reporting.
To be considered, you must demonstrate the following:
Strong technical understanding of big data & data analytics. (Azure, Hadoop, Power BI, Apache ranger etc)
Extensive experience and proven ability to manage small to medium size IT projects
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Highly developed problem solving and analytical skills
Project Management qualification in PMP, Prince, Agile techniques
Experience working with a start-up or in a start-up environment would be beneficial
