My market leading client are looking for an Applications Support consultant to join their Melbourne based team for an initial 3 month period. This role would suit someone who likes to roll their sleeves up and fix genuine business problems.
What you'll need:
Exemplary stakeholder management skills
2nd or 3rd tier application support experience across a broad array of functions. (Sorry - desktop support alone will not be sufficient)
Able to travel if required
Understanding of process flows, documentation, vendor management.
Broader technical background (SQL/Infrastructure)
The role:
Provide technical support, system administration, and continuous improvement for applications.
Liaise with key business stakeholders to ensure effective application utilisation and performance.
Working collaboratively with IT project managers to ensure successful transition of projects to operations.
Provide technical leadership with problem identifcation, management, analysis & resolution.
Identify opportunities for business improvement and recommending, and where required, implementing changes to work practices and procedures.
