FinXL IT Professional Services is an established innovative Australian company providing technology enabled business solutions and consulting services across a number of industries including Telecommunications, Commercial, Government and Finance.
At present, an outstanding opportunity exists for a Release Manager to join our team of highly-credentialed consultant's onsite at a leading telecommunications organisation.
Working on a large program of work, this position will be responsible the Release and Change component of the project. A key outcome is to move existing Media applications from the existing hosting datacentre into a custom built private cloud as part of our client's network resilience improvement initiative.
Role and Experience Required:
Lead engagement for the project with application owners and operational teams to priority and complete changes in optimised timeframes
Responsible for creation coordination, tracking and reporting of all change and release management tasks required to mirror applications into the cloud environments and exit infrastructure components
Facilitate and negotiate required approvals for change windows
Provide monthly reporting of successful changes to support tracking of outcomes and benefits
Scheduling and impact assessment skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to demonstrate previous experience with change management
ITIL background is preferable
Experience in IT/Operations is preferred
