Asset Controller - Central London. A multinational professional services firm is looking for an accomplished Asset Controller to work within their busy Procurement Department covering all aspects of Asset Control, on an initial three month contract.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have strong Excel and data analysis skills, coupled with excellent attention to detail and an understanding of IT systems.
Your main responsibilities will be to process accurate additions & deletions of company assets within the company database and to record and track all transactions related to the company's hard assets. You will provide a monthly reconciliation for the Head of Procurement in preparation for reporting to key stakeholders, including the Finance department and will assist in the reconciliation of all assets, particularly IT assets, against the main asset register ensuring they are in the correct locations.
The daily activities of the Asset Controller will typically involve:-
-Use of spreadsheets, IT software, and one or more database applications
-Recording any acquisitions or sales of assets, filing any forms related to the transactions
-Preparing reports for management
This role would suit a customer service focused person, who possesses a strong Microsoft Excel skills. Having a keen eye for detail is an essential for this role, as is being organised and having a flexible approach to work. Whilst it is not essential, experience of Asset Control systems would be advantageous to your application.
