This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Consumer PR Communications Manager to work for a leading Retailer on a 3 month interim contract.
The Communications Manager is an integral member of the Communications team and will lead on key campaigns and projects, communicating the company's strategy to deliver what customers want, when they want it.
The role will have responsibility for supporting specific product categories, brands and work streams, and will support the Senior Communications Manager in the development and delivery of the broader business communications strategies
The role is suited to someone with solid Consumer PR experience and will have a proven record of overseeing and executing campaigns for big brands, in a fast-paced environment, delivering clear results whilst supporting broader business objectives.
The ideal candidate for this Communications Manager role will have/be;
- 5+ years working in Consumer PR with large consumer brands
- Ideally experience of working with retail brands (non-food)
- Excellent written, oral and presentation communication skills
- Strong project manager with a detailed and focused approach to reporting, budgets and timeline management
- Excellent written, oral and presentation communication skills
- Able to work to tight deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong media contacts and media relations experience
- Self-starter, highly motivated, positive and results-focused with gravitas
- Event production
- Campaign budget management
- Commutable to Milton Keynes daily
