Oracle Developer PLSQL Contract Dublin 6-18 months.
My client a leading name in their global space is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Oracle Developer PLSQL Developer to join my clients team on a contract basis 6 months initially but could extend up to 18 months in total.
You will be a senior figure within the department, working within an Agile team, writing requirements and specification (eg automated tests), developing relationships across the technology and user communities. In addition making sure we are always focusing on delivery of value using exceptional quality. As the successful applicant you will be responsible for supporting modern agile software development methods; including educating & mentoring less experienced team members.You will be a teaching, team member - setting the standards best technical practices and open to working with a number of different technologies/languages.
You will have Strong experience within the IT industry, Solid exposure to working in a development role. Successful candidates will have Oracle/PL/SQL knowledge, Pro*C, Windows Operating System, Unix Operating System experience. You will have Full project development life cycle, and Proficient written and verbal communication skills to support and shape the platform and clearly articulate technical designs and concepts. It would be seen a nice to have if you had experience with test-driven development and unit testing, Experience of functional languages (eg Scala), Experience of Scrum/Agile methods and Experience of Specification by Example/BDD.
