Communications Manager - Life, Pensions and Investments

We are seeking a Communications Manager - Life, Pensions and Investments with strong experience of Life, Pensions and Investments. This role is on a contract basis, initially for 6 months with an extension expected and you be working for a leading financial services organisation. The role can be based in either Edinburgh or Bristol.

Daily rate up to £340 per day

Overview

You will work as a Product Specialist, providing support to senior members within team, contributing to the overall business plan and income
Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the delivery of business activity as directed by senior members within the team, establishing Capital Markets as a multi-product debt origination provider to Commercial Banking clients
  • Contribute to the business plan working closely with senior members within the team and other parts of Capital Markets to ensure products are appropriately priced and executed and that activity is aligned to the goals and values of the Group
  • Comprehensive understanding of client base working with seniors on a sub-set of clients
  • Analysing complex data to support client interaction and product offering
  • Support interaction with key clients in order to promote product advice, having some client relationship at a mid/junior level eg assistant Corporate Treasurer
  • Maintain and build relationships as defined by Head Product Specialist/Head of Desk with specific sector stakeholders in Corporate Banking/FI and key clients/investors, supporting and facilitating transactions for new and existing business
  • Maintain some mid/junior relationships with Assistant Corporate Treasurer or similar for core clients
  • Support and deliver against specific recommendations made by the more senior members of the team (made by who?) re the execution of new business/maintenance of existing business
  • Always to undertake the duties of this role in accordance with the requirements of the company's Regulators, including FSA's Principles for Business
  • Ensure compliance with the Bank's books of instructions, procedures and guidelines together with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements where appropriate implementing actions to protect the Bank's business at all times
