Description
Full-stack Ruby on Rails developer needed to lead a project through to completion, and work in a vibrant, fast-growing, socially conscious tech company.
Experience in:
Ruby on Rails (Rails v4 -- to be moved to v5)
Responsive/Mobile-friendly web technologies:
CSS, particularly Bootstrap
JS
Desirable:
Development against MySQL backends
AWS (EC2)
Minitest and/or rspec
Responsible for:
The implementation of the product roadmap for the site, including:
Changes to the Back End data structure and business processes
Bringing deployment and infrastructure up to current good practices; with particular regard to user data protection.
Re-branding of the site Front End
Improvements to the site UI, including the use of CSS/JS.
Reporting progress and working in cooperation with the rest of the team and business
Taking engineering ownership for the length of the project.
