Position Summary:
The Cloud AWS Architect will be responsible for designing the technical & physical architecture based on AWS platform and defining architecture standards and guidelines to be adopted by the Project teams as part of implementation. The Job profile requires close working with the DNB Technical and Operational teams.

Skills set:

• Minimum 10 plus years of experience with 3+ Years as an Cloud Architect preferably AWS
• Minimum 3 years of experience in developing applications using J2EE - micro services architecture
• AWS Certification - Solutions Architect Associate / DevOps Engineering Professional
• Deep experience in at least one of these - infrastructure architecture, web application architecture, data architecture, integration architecture and excellent understanding in others
• Strong understanding and knowledge of Linux, Automation Tools (Chef / Puppet / Ansible etc.), AWS Services (EC2, Network, ELB, S3/EBS, VPC, RDS, CloudFront, etc.) or similar Public Cloud platform, and scripting languages (Ruby, Perl or other) is a must.
• Experience with API management tools, Identity Management tools etc.
• Strong technical grounding & experience with relational database and other data storage systems
• Experience with Infrastructure automation & DevOps scripting - Ansible, Ruby Shell, Python etc
• Overview of security fundamentals would be an added advantage - IAM, OAuth, JWT etc.
• Must be highly organized and detail-orientated
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Flexible, motivated self-starter
• Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field is desired.

Responsibilities:

• The role is responsible for designing, building, and improving cloud environments on Amazon Web Services. Candidate should have a strong Application / Infrastructure Architecture background.
• Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc.
• Design AWS IaaS / PaaS services to formulate highly available and disaster recovery architectures.
• Design server less architecture for web / mobile application and REST based micro services architecture.
• Work closely with the DNB Architects to ensure that requirements are fully understood and documented in order to deliver quality design deliverables
• Define architecture standards and technical guidelines (design principles, reusable components, design patterns), coding guidelines etc for development team
• Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architects to ensure alignment of Information, Application and Technology architecture to the overall enterprise architecture principles and framework.
• Ability to create a high level project plan, size the resources required to execute the project

Location: Oslo / Bergen (Norway)

Duration: 6 months + possible extension

Language requirement: English, Norwegian (optional)
