Linux Specialist- Linux RedHat - Centos - London - ContractTalent are currently working with one of the fastest growing UK based IT companies that are looking to recruit a Linux Specialist on a contract basis. My client are going through Transformational activity, from infrastructure perspective and are looking for someone to start immediately.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership, challenge & review current Linux RedHat & Centos estate
- Creating documentation, guides and designs of the platform
- Introducing new processes of how servers and applications are built and installed
- Providing advice and guidance on Linux Centos best practice, to challenge Rackspace to improve processes i.e 'if we do it this way we can standardise the build by deploying these application or scripts, bring automation into play, devops 'style' way of doing things'
The successful candidate will have good python skills.
