Business Analyst - Direct Data TransferOne of the world's leading investment banks requires a Business Analyst to support their direct data transfer project.
They recently launched a tooling project, driven by an audit commitment, to provide the general ability to securely transfer large datasets (both within the organisation and to external processing vendors), without the need of shipping physical media.
Specifically, the project aims to implement a secure, high-speed, direct data transfer tool/capability in the client infrastructure within the US, EMEA and APAC regions, for use by the Data Operations team globally.
Assignment overview:
- Own the Operating Design work stream, coordinate and run working sessions to create Target Operating Model (TOM) for Direct Data Transfer, Build instructions for systems configuration and systems log customisation, to meet and trace Design back to business requirements (and selected findings from POC)
- Ensure Operating Model is compatible with overall departmental TOM
- Validate that Product Architectural Document (PAD), Design and Build are in line with requirements; validate that PAD is in line with baseline information security controls
- Support Implementation Plan design and execution
- Create and document UAT Test Plans
Your profile:
In addition to being a proven Business Analyst with a wealth of Investment Banking experience, you will also have a track record in similar data led assignments.
Also, given the various dependencies between tooling and surrounding process/ operating model changes, it is desirable that you have experience in process analysis with Six Sigma or equivalent skills. Ideally you'll be able to identify required process change, implement and then measure the benefits. However, it is understood from experience that business analysis has priority over process analysis.
