Role: UK Head of CRM

Location: Littlehampton or London

Day rate: Up to £350 via LTD

Start date: ASAP (preferably 27th Nov)

End date: 30th April 2018

Background:

This is an urgent role to cover the last 6 months of a maternity leave. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a customer centric retail environment, and must have a deep understanding of the mechanics of loyalty programs.

Purpose of role:

  • Drive the CRM and E-Marketing strategies and activation for a well-known UK based business as one of the pivotal players in the Marketing team.
  • Champion the voice of the customer by providing insight to influence both market and international strategy and planning.
  • Design and deliver omni-channel plans to acquire new customers and build loyalty with existing customers.

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Design and deliver a UK CRM strategy based on strong customer and competitor insight, ensuring strong customer engagement and competitor differentiation.
  • Lead, design and deliver campaigns across channels (store/online) and touchpoints (email/DM/SMS/events) that deliver incremental sales, acquire new customers and build loyalty with existing customers.
  • Lead relationship with external agencies to ensure balance between short-term sales driving and longer term brand/loyalty-building activities.
  • Manage a £1m+ budget, the largest part of the UK marketing and communication budget.
  • Partner with the International organisation to influencer, plan and implement with excellence the new VIP loyalty programme.
  • Play a key, senior leadership role in the UK Marketing & Values team, ensuring holistic plans remain customer-centric and insight driven. Deputise for the Marketing & Values Director when required.
  • Influencer International and Zone strategy and direction (UK as largest market) through close collaboration and sharing of relevant insights/best practice
  • Lead and manage the CRM and E-Marketing teams, providing leadership, motivation and development at all times.
  • Lead relationship with Agency partners and identify new partnership opportunities.

  • UK Senior Management team, in particular General Manager, Finance Director and Web Operations Director

  • Zone Marketing & Values Director

  • International Customer Insight Manager
  • Web Operations/IT/Legal
