C# .NET / Winforms / EPOS / Self Checkout / WPF Including MVVM / Microsoft SQL Server / SOAP, WCF, REST, JSON, etc.My client, A market leading Fin-Tech organisation urgently require an experienced full stack developer to join them for an initial 6 month contract with possible extension/s
This role is for a dynamic and driven full-stack developer to bring his/her knowledge and experience to help them expand and build there portfolio of products.
SPECIFICATION
Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Assist with the mentoring of junior members of the team
At least 5 years' experience designing and building C# .NET applications in both WinForms and WPF (including MVVM)
Experience of working with service orientation and related technologies (SOAP, WCF, REST, JSON, etc.)
Excellent knowledge and experience in object-orientated design and development
Excellent knowledge of relational database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server and related .NET technologies
Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
Strong communication and team working skills
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
Familiarity with continuous integration
