My client, a market leading travel technology organisation, are seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst to join our Business Insights team.
As an integral member of the team, you will be the owner of Insights relating to certain products within our business. You will be expected to quickly learn the key drivers of our business and deliver high quality insights to the rest of the organisation.
You will be expected to form strong working relationships with other business functions and become the point of contact for any analytical support.
Duties
- Perform complex analysis on large data sets using appropriate data analysis techniques and tools with a strong focus on quality
- Proactively identify areas of commercial opportunities and/or improvement based on trends in the data.
- End to end analysis of our products, incorporating both standard and advanced analytical methods.
- Empower stakeholders through smart data visualization (Reporting and dashboards) to share information and KPIs with stakeholders.
- Analyse, review, forecast, and interpret complex data through the development of case-studies, enabling the data to tell a story.
- Identify drivers of patterns in our data and predict customer behaviours.
- Lead the design and realization of analytical based tools/assets to identify and monitor non-standard patterns/behaviour.
- Engage with product owners to explore business problems and design solutions.
- Support short and long term operational/strategic business activities through analysis.
- Providing and assisting senior stakeholders in the business with ad-hoc analysis and insights when required.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Data visualization tools, eg Tableau, Power BI
- SQL or Redshift or Python
- Comfortable manipulating and analysing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources and presenting/communicating insights from the data
- Solid understanding of statistical modelling and data mining
- Master's degree/Professional qualification in a Mathematical or Analytical field
- Highly analytical with excellent problem solving abilities
- Strong data visualization skills with ability to present data in a logical & meaningful way
- Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner and tailor to audience as required
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
