Ops Engineer
Our Client is one of the largest coorperations when measured by revenue and is currently looking for an experienced Ops Engineer in Amsterdam.
As am Ops Engineer you are an active member of the DevOps team and you work closely with other team members. You are a T-shaped professional and combines one or more technical specialties with the capability of taking over basic activities of other specialists on the team.
As an OpsEngineer within Compliance you are responsible for changing, running and maximising automated support of applications within the IT department of our Amsterdam based client. Confidence in implementing change requests and in support activities. Consider yourself capable of taking over the basic activities of other DevOps team members like design, development and testing? - Knowledge of and experience with linux/unix. Other focus area can be useful like oracle, WebsphereMQ
- Scripting and programming skills, and experience with automation of (maintenance) processes with tools like XL Deploy, RIT, Jenkins, GIT, Maven and/or Selenium
- Active member of the DevOps team, working closely with other disciplines/roles and seek for a good alignment with the Compliance Department
- Intrinsic drive to personal development in new specialties
- Flexibility, ownership and self-dependency
- Knowledge of and experience with Agile (Scrum), Lean, ITIL, JIRA and/or Confluence
