Description
Our website is on a WordPress theme and has a lot of content.Our current needs:
- To know if the template is being maintained.
- A review for security and updates,
- An estimation of and potential installation of a better search function,
- Mobile optimization/better mobile functioning –
- Adding a second blog, as our ‘Story of The Week’ is currently using the one tab allowed for a blog.
- Ad hoc questions answered. These would come from the volunteer who posts our Story of The Week.
- Design Assistance/This wall of text is off-putting/Needs Help.
Of course, we are concerned that the above be completed without losing any current content! We are, however, we are interested in the content being redistributed/publicly archived, so that the front page is less dense but that people can access the information easily via tabs and//or searches.
The successful applicant should have experience working with small nonprofits and/or individuals with limited understanding of WordPress capabilities, patience and the ability to explain options succinctly, be available post project as needed.
