Description
One of our leading retail clients based in Sweden, is looking for a Splunk Consultant, you will be working within one of our global consultancies on a large transformation project.
Below you will find all the necessary skills required:
- Strong understanding of Splunk configuration files and architecture
- Demonstrated ability to create complex dashboards, forms and visualizations
- Experience in systems administration - specifically hardening - using Microsoft Group Policy Objects (GPO)
- Design core systems performance and troubleshooting logs
- Ingest logs into Splunk from databases and applications (includes non-COTS applications); develop custom parsers as needed
- Integrate and customize Splunk apps
- Should have experience in Windows Scripting (batch, VBScript, Powershell)
- Experience in application load balancing in Splunk and/or using DNS and Load Balancing Services (such as F5)
- Prefer experience in software update management using Microsoft Software Installation (MSI) Technology
- Prefer experience working with Windows System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- Should be versed in linux Scripting (SH, BASH, KSH)
