Senior Network Engineer
Opportunity for an experienced Network Engineer to join a market leading organisation in Brussels, Belgium. The right Network Engineer would need to be technically competent with providing 2nd to 3rd line support. The Network Engineer will have proven experience in managing a range of infrastructure as well as prioritising workload and meeting business expectations.
Skills
- Understanding the Osix Application layered architecture.
- Experience with installation/configuration of Osix.
- Experience working with Probes ( mttrapd, ping, eif, socket, syslog, glf).
- End to end LTE/VoLTE network troubleshooting.
- IOT (Inter Operator Testing) of various LTE vendor Nodes.
- XDR process implementation for OXIS and 3rd party XDR feed
- Responsible for keeping all operational record, maintaining a list of all network faults, their severity and resolutions, either planned or already executed.
- Responsible for coordination and maintenance of the software upgrade roadmap across all elements is implemented per schedule.
- Responsible for ensuring that Root Cause Analysis reports are completed for Major Incidents and followed-up via Problem Management in order to prevent re-occurrences of the same fault.
- Responsible for coordinating the Support team, Business Team, network team
- Experience on Linux/Solaris at Administrator level and Experience on DB Administrator (SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Smack DB)
- Activate the necessary SW application on the dedicated HW (media probe, probe Servers, Jupiter, etc )
- Activate necessary licenses (user, protocol, SW packages, etc )
- Configure the system (traffic flow setup, alarming, etc )
- Mapping IP Addresses with host names
- XDR generation and traffic groups creation
- Filtering based on requested ports/VLAN/IP (OSIX and AGT TAP's)
- Jupiter config. based on customer reference data
- SMACK database configuration
