Our client within the Banking sector is seeking SAS AML Analytics resources for likely twelve month contract roles to start immediately.
Ideally, the applicant will be able to demonstrate the below minimum requirements;
A minimum of six years in a similar position
Excellent interpersonal and people management skills at all levels
Ability to facilitate outcomes and achieve consensus
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Excellent planning and project management skills
Responsibilities include;
Support staff to promote a sound compliance and risk management culture
Perform AML functions across the business including, identifying, investigating, assessing and reporting
Investigation of ML alerts and transactions considered suspicious.
Monitor and implement changes to the regulatory environment and update business units of relevant changes
Assist staff on actions required in dealing with high risk concerns
Creat, implement and maintain compliance Plans to ensure the policies, systems and procedures meet regulatory and compliance obligations.
Provide support to the compliance/reporting team and other business units
Reports on the compliance program including breaches and incidents.
Review and provide compliance sign-off of operational policies and procedures.
Represent the compliance & risk function in the organization's business projects
